Lost Sailor - Ink

Since I first got inked high school, I have yearned to get a traditional clipper ship tattoo. For me, that  image hearkens back to a time when men traveled and 'got under the skin' of their environs.  But as tattoo's go most people usually start with art that has meaning, relevance of family or images that represent a time and space. I have those now. This month I finally took the time to get the boat. It also happens that I love the lyrics of Lost Sailor and the images it conjures. I opted for a dark & stormy adaptation. I'm not a sailor. I'm a land locked, Lost Sailor. Nik Pew of Landmark Tattooing manned the helm.
