Integratron - Landers CA - 2014

"Birth through induction, death through short circuit."
- George Van Tassel

In the high desert, near Joshua Tree is a magical place where healing thrives and the mind fly's. Giant Rock has a history of it's own but just around yonder hill is this quirky, little gem of architecture. Just visit.

"Gonna Make the Mountains be My Home" - Furthur 9/19/2013 - Red Rocks

Well the boys kicked off the Red Rocks, Sep 2013 shows with a really solid first set and a second set that lit the rocks on fire. Love the Uncle John's Band and crowd of hippies screaming.."Don't Tread on Me." Lady with a Fan / Terrapin... almost caved my skull in. Highly debated as what could be the last full tour of Furthur, this one is well worth catching. Bravo boys.

Good Morning Little School Girl

Having had Further just blast through town got me thinking about O'l Ron "Pigpen" Mckernan. Pigpen was the first of The Dead's ivory bangers to initiate in the "Curse of the Grateful Dead Keyboardists." Followed soon by Keith Godchaux, Brent Mydland and Vince Welnick. For some odd reason untimely deaths soon followed after sitting with the band at the keys. The thing I like about Pigpen was that he was a biker as well...not your average San Fran hippie.
