Panerai - Purdey Lion Head Luminor Hunting Watch

My opinion of guys that wear over sized, absurdly in your face, watches has always been suspect . I prefer a vintage Rolex in stainless finish or better yet a G-shock that works and survives. But this little number has peaked my interest.

Purdey & Sons partnered with Panerai in 2002 to make a line of high end watches for hunters.  The illuminated crystal is covered with a finely engraved hinge so as not alert animals about to be taken. The concept is pushing it but the theory and execution is rad.
