Mozambique III - The First Client - 2011

We sold our first hunt an an "exploratory hunt" given we had little knowledge of the area and its game numbers. We knew from the past owners experience that there were good cat and elephant numbers, some buffalo and a variety of plains game. What we found was great cats, good elephant numbers some buffalo and a heavily poached plains game scenario. Our first client was a long time client of my partner and an avid trophy hunter. He came in search of Elephant and or Lion and in the end...he left with Aslan.

We have implemented a strict policy regarding the taking of Lion on the property. Only big, solo, old cats will be shot. This magnificent beast is a prime example of what the property holds. We found his Roan kill that morning 30 miles from camp and he was taken that evening.
