In one of the final corrida's of the season in Zaragoza, Spain one of the coolest Matadors ever was gored in the Face. Juan Jose Padilla slipped and fell on the sand while placing the banderillas and was gored through the jaw. The horn came through his eye socket.
After being helped from the ring he was heard yelling.."I can't see, I can't see." He is in serious condition and being operated in hospital. The bull Marques of Ana Romero ranch was killed soon after by Matador Miguel Abellan with tears running down his face. Update, he's probably gonna loose the eye but he's ok.
