When my neighbor invited me to join him for a lapping day at High Plains Race Track I jumped at the chance. It's not often these days you see a 1993 500E gracing the apron on a track...but for the crew that headed out this day I think a few people were suprised. We know the vehicle has lots of torque (triple digits on the straight) but what was a real treat was the way this 17 year old super sedan handled the curves. Flat and staunch for an old girl. Unfortunately because we were both driving I don't have any shots of it on track.
