Winchester 1873 - Part II

"The Gun that One the West..."

..and a few sheep yards in Pueblo, CO. The Winchester Repeating Arms Company has always been known for its effective lever-action rifles and this is the one that set the mark. Luckily my father's Uncle, a Sheep Rancher and Sheriff in Southern, Colorado had one..now it's mine. A gift. A duty from another family member bestowed on me, the right to manage this guns days and ensure it will be passed to another. I can assure you this is the only scarlett letter that will be carved in its stock...until my kid finds it.

Octogon Barrel, 44-40 Caliber

Early First Model, 1875, #20,660, RARE

The goal is to shoot a Colorado Buck as soon as she gets dolled up.
