Today's corrida proved to be everything you would expect from a Sunday on the sand at San Fermin. Big Miura's, intriguing torero's and a packed house. In the end no ears and for the aficion another rumble about the decline of spirit in the Miura's. My personal affinity for certain bullfighter's varies as fighters come and go but for now Padilla is one of my favorites to watch. He's graceful in a clumsy way and had all the flare of a showman as he placed his own banderillas (Kareem-Abdul Jabaar steaze) and handled the well armed Miura's with a style all his own. Best hair in bullfighting and chops too match. This guy sells seats.
