One of the greatest outdoor museums for art deco lighting and architecture lies just north of the city of Denver in an amusement park that time forgot. Originally known as the White City, Lakeside Amusement Park is an acid trip of color and sound.
The Centerpiece is a Magnificent Core-Ten Steel and poured in place Concrete Fountain
Architect Richard L. Crowther designed much of Lakeside's Deco and Modern features and included a great deal of neon lighting in his work.
