Late Friday night I got the call for a last minute invite to chase Toms on a very well developed waterfowl property in the Golden Triangle, East of Denver. I blew off the family Easter celebration and headed out with visions of dragging tail feathers and blood engorged heads in my mind. Unfortunately, this year I didn't pull the trigger. Three Jake's within ten feet...No Beards!
