When two legends like Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson get together for an evening of music and stories its hard to pass up. My buddy scored us four dead center, 20th row seats for the Denver show at the Buell Theatre. Merle sounded as good on stage as any studio session from the old days and Kris, though broken down in voice, was still magical to watch as they weaved stories and relived a life of hard and fast livin. It was an evening of gentleman on stage and as I watched the two silver foxes walk off together I knew it was the last time I would see that live. They tore that fucker a new one.
