My first visit to the Dark Continent was about a year and a half ago to adopt our son Lion. I managed to sneak in a waterfowl hunt as well. I can't wait to take Lion back and hunt birds in his neck-o-the woods. Shallow ponds amidst the valleys outside of Addis Ababa were the scene for a beautiful day of wing shooting. My gracious host not only assists orphaned children he also loves to shoot ducks like I do.
With duck season just around the corner and Africa on my agenda I found this memory fitting to share.
